Irving felt such a ???. I'm sure he shares with you with all things you do for us. Therefor God will pay you with health and pleasure from your children.
Maybe you will come this Sunday, I'm making lentil soup and other goodies, which I can't say in advance it has to be a surprise. If the weather will be nice take a ride.
Be well from me your Mommy

(I can't post my translation there, as it's already closed. Following is a slightly different translation for that letter)

Oct. 18, 1952
My dear father-mother
I just now this minute received your loving letter which made me very happy. And exactly then I felt like writing you a small Yiddish letter. You don't know how good I felt to hear that you are not angry with me, Mother. I couldn't forget it all week.
I understand how you feel about me coming home more often. I will surely do it. - Thank you very much for the check. I really didn't need it, but it's always useful.
This week was Boni's birthday, I bought him a nice present. Last night we went out with her and her lad. We had a good time. Today Aoirow arranged a blind date for Merl with Avi and we are going out together. She is very happy.
In two weeks will be a very big meeting for the Habonim in New York. Maybe we will go for the weekend. I'll write a letter to Frumke and I'll ask her if I may sleepover there. Aoirow already has a place to stay. What do you think about this?
