Seeking translations and interpretations to help me research and find Beniamin Veinberg, the person who gave this Yad Vashem testimony about his grandmother, who was my great grandmother; dated 7 Jul 1999, Eszter Grinbaum/Grunbaum/Greenbaum. Someone sent this page to me a few months ago. Before that, I did not know she lived past the 1920s, or was murdered in 1944; and I did not know she had any descendants with name Veinberg (could be Weinberg/er, Vaynberg/er, etc.) - I did not know that is a family name of ours. And I am stuck in researching her. Is his address on this page in Hebrew? is it in Israel or where? How can I research him?
Thank you very much.

3/27/2019 6:53 PM The address where he resided when he submitted this testimony in 1999 was:
Rechov Yaakov Solomon, 30/9
Haifa
32589
Israel

His telephone number in Israel was 04-8320357.
3/28/2019 7:05 AM As far as I can tell there is a small "Resh" (the Hebrew letter for r) at the end of the last name, which makes it Veinberger.
3/28/2019 10:52 AM It is indeed Weinberger and not Weinberg.
In Yad Vashem there are 2 testimony pages by benjamin Weinberger: for Jseni Grinbaum daughter of Eszter and benjamin and her daughter Fridel Grinbaum.
Eszter's spouse name is Benjamin

4/8/2019 4:36 AM Hi Barrie, Since she lived in Czechia, her name would probably have been Gr├╝nbaum; or Grinbaum if her family came from Poland. You can look for her name at Yad Vashem's database of Holocaust victims - https://yvng.yadvashem.org/index.html?language=en
The person who wrote the testimony is Binyamin Weinberger (in any of its variant spellings), her grandson; lives (lived)in Israel, at Rehov Yaakov Solomon 30, Apt 9, Haifa, zipcode 32589. Tel: 04-8320357. Is himself a survivor.
You can try contacting the Israel Genealogy Soc for help finding him - https://genealogy.org.il/
Best, Deborah Guth
