This is an Antwerp Police immigrant record I found for what may be a cousin of mine. Although I included the full image, I am only interested in what it says about Isidore Langer (the second-to-last name at the bottom), along with any other information on the page relevant to him.

The record is in either Dutch or French, I'm admittedly not sure which.

Thanks for your time, and Shana Tova!

In English: The police of the RR station of Cracovie (Kracow, Poland) sent me via the consulate of Austria-Hungary the following telegram: LANGER Isidore, 2i year old, from Cracovie, weak built, medium height, brown hair, pale complextion, nose long and fat, took 1000 couronnes, and took off toward the America with his cousin. Please detain.

The Krakow railway station police, supported by the Austrian-Hungarian consulate, sent me the following telegram:
"Langer, Isidore, 21 years old, from Krakow, of weak build, average height, brown hair, pale complexion, long thick nose, has embezzled 1000 kroner and fled to America in the company of his cousin. Please arrest.
9/10/2018 3:07 AM The value of 1000 Austro-Hungarian krone in 1914
would be equivalent to about $5000 US in 2018...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austro-Hungarian_krone

1914: 1 US dollar = 5.08 Kr. so 1000 Kr = $196.85
which adjusted for inflation: $5010.86

9/10/2018 5:34 AM "fled to" is dubious, a perhaps'better' translation is "fled for", as why bother the Belgian authorities if he was already in the states.
