8/26/2018 8:20 PM Hello Robert,

A partial translation for you....

"Here lies our dear mother, Mrs. Devorah Miller, daughter of.....(what appears to be) who died on the 11th day of the Hebrew month of Shvat.........May her soul be bound up in the bonds of everlasting life."
8/26/2018 11:09 PM Daughter of Yehuda.

I tend to think the date was the first of Shvat.
8/26/2018 11:11 PM Daughter of Yehuda.

I tend to think the date was the first of Shvat.
8/27/2018 2:48 AM Robert,

Regarding the date....The Aleph is very clear, and that would be the 1st day of Shvat. However, it seems that there is a Yud after the Aleph, which would make it the 11th of Shvat.

Someone else may want to take a look at it, to offer some feedback as to which date is correct....Jo
8/27/2018 6:04 AM Here lies
Our Dear mother
Ms. Deborah
Miller
Daughter of Mr. Yehuda
Who died the day
First (ie, Sunday), 7 Shvat, Year
657 by the short count (ie, 5657 -- 1897), aged
54 years
(Acronym:) May her soul be bound in the bonds of everlasting life

Note that 7 Shvat was a Sunday that year. One can faintly see the line of the letter Zayin

8/29/2018 6:37 PM I agree with the Hebrew date of Day 1 (Sunday), 7 Shevat 5657
