Am interested in dating this undocumented family photo that appears on the back of a blank postcard possessed by my grandfather who emigrated to the States from Galicia in 1914. He was actually born and raised in Tiraspol (then Russia, now Moldova)and that is where I think the photo was taken. If there are any photo mavens familiar with the style, fashion, or look of the times, Id appreciate dating the photo. Many thanks.

1/7/2018 7:48 PM To me, it looks rather modern. Without knowing anything about it, I would have placed it about 1910-1920s or even slightly thereafter.
1/9/2018 4:47 AM Based on the clothing styles (lowered necklines; sack collars with skinny ties), this would not be before c. 1920. Quite possibly a little later, since Tiraspol was probably not a fashion-forward place.
1/9/2018 7:05 AM All adults project self-confidence. The man on the right has a "professional" look about him. I would date the photo between 1925-1935. The familial relationship are hard to define as they all look too much like siblings, but one couple must be a husband a wife! (Could have been cousins; not unheard of). Nice photo.
