Hello. Are there any clues that can be gleaned from this Yahrzeit tablet, such as town, synagogue, cemetery -- anything at all that can be translated beyond the inset would be much appreciated! Thank you

6/11/2017 8:53 AM I assume that you are OK with the translation of the tablet itself:
====
On the passing
of my revered mother
a G-d fearing lady and woman of valor
Eet'e the daughter of Mr Zvi Hirsh the Cohen may his memory be for a blessing.
Left the land of life and went up to heaven
on the 10th of the month of Adar II 5668 (1908 in handwriting).

May her soul be bound up in the bonds of life.
====

Concerning clues from this beautiful piece of art.
1) Write to Israel museum to see if they recognize it from their collection
2) Write to diaspora museum to see if they know how to recognize it.
3) The spelling of the Yiddish name aleph yud tet ayin might indicate a locality. Of course, if it is a general Lithuanian spelling, then you will not know anything more from this. You never know.
4) Search Internet "synagogue art".

I am sorry that I cannot help further.
