We, citizens of Lithuania, swear that we know well the Lithuanian citizen Pessia Gamburg, maiden name Gamus, whose likeness is displayed in the attached photograph. She was born on April 15th 1890 in Disna[?], region of Vilna, and is, like her husband and her late father and grandfather, a member of the community of Solokai, district of Novoaleksadrovsk, region of Kovno, where she is a permanent resident. She was living there until wartime circumstances had forced her temporarily to move as a refugee into central Russia with the intent on returning to Lithuania at the first possible opportunity. She never changed her citizenship, joned any political party; she is a loyal and hard-working citizen. Against her will, she was forced to work for the Red Army in Soviet Russia; she was released because of illness and again she attempted...

[If I may I would like to make an observation. Some of the document you post are displayed rather small and at low resolution. They can certainly be reproduced with finer resolution and image definition, even if scanned in grey-scale rather than full colour, which does not add anything in these cases.]
