Hello. Looking for translation of this Cyrillic photo cover. I believe my grandmother had this taken in 1907 on her way from Seirijai to the U.S. She sailed from Rotterdam. If it is Grodno - or whatever city - does it make sense to follow that route from Seirijai to Rotterdam?

3/12/2017 5:52 PM It is indeed Grodno. No other useful information here.
"...does it make sense to follow that route from Seirijai to Rotterdam?"-Certainly possible.

Photo Studio N.A. Azersky
Sobornaya st.
Grodno

One possibility is that it was on the way to Rotterdam.
There could be another possibility - Seirijai and Grodno are in two different countries today - Lithuania and Belarus, but at the time the picture was taken it was one country. The towns are relatively close - about 75 km. So maybe it was taken during a shopping visit to the "big" town Grodno or maybe the photo was the purpose for the trip because there where no photo studios in small towns and villages.
