Yehuda son of Moshe.
10/27/2015 3:59 AM Insomnia gives me the time to do this (comments in parentheses):

Here lies
A man who walked in wholesomeness & performed righteous acts (see Psalms 1)
Mr Yehuda (Judah) son of Moshe Aratchkofska
(died) on the day 23 Kislev year (5)684 (1924)
His days were shortened, With the blood of his years he was taken & he is no more
Death sent its arrows. And in its net he was captured, and his life was ended
Woe to us. Who will bring his like to us (again)?
He kept god's word, and to the paths of His Torah he poured out his love
Woe to us! One of the finest of our community is lost to us
May his soul be bound in the bonds of everlasting life
10/28/2015 11:03 AM The Hebrew expression, "bidmi shnotav" means "at a young age". I would not translate it to "in the blood of his years" which is rather meaningless, and gives a totally irrelevant association to violence. Nothing in this inscription hints at blood or violence. The text finds a number of ways to describe the fact that the man died too young - and "bidmi shnotav" is one of them.

I also suggest the last syllable of the family name should be read (and pronounced) as "keh".
