This is page 1 & 2 of a Hebrew letter that my grandfather saved. I don't know if this was from a friend in the US after they had emigrated or from family in Russia- now Ukraine. I have other letters dating back to 1900 from Russia but all have been written in Yiddish. This one is in Hebrew.

There are 2 letters. The first here is from David Katsmazovskij to his "brother" Joseph (" To my dearest brother Mr. Joseph...". Date: Thursday eve 23 October - unfortunately no year. It is in a very nice old style Hebrew but very hard to read, so i thought I'll just give you this information first.
