I believe this is the birth registration for Leja KOHEN. If so, I'd appreciate as complete a translation as possible. I can direct to the archival scan on request.

On  Response
2/20/2015 7:36 AM 316. It came to pass in the Governorate Capital Town of Lublin on the fifteenth day of July in the year of one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven at the hour of eleven in the morning. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Chuna Mandeltort, a declarant, a merchant who at that time was thirty-one years of age and residing here in Lublin, accompanied by witnesses, that is to say, Tobiasz Liberman, a broker who at that time was thirty-four years of age, and Kulef Rozenbaum, a broker who at that time was thirty-two years of age, who at that time were both residing here in Lublin, and he showed us a baby of sex female who had been born here in Lublin in a house located at number three hundred and ninety-six on the twenty-fifth day of June of the current year at the hour of five in the morning from Jakob Kohen, a speculator, nineteen years of age, and his spouse Sura Kohen nee Kohen, nineteen years of age, to whom the double name had been given Laja Hencza. The declarant declared that the father was away on a trip, which was the reason why he did not present himself personally for {the purpose of drawing up} the actual act, and that at that time, for the same reasons, his marriage was already delayed*. The actual act was read aloud to the appearers and subsequently signed by them.

Chuna Mandeltort (signed in Polish), Declarant

Witnesses:

Tobiasz Liberman (signed)

Kulef Rozenbaum (signed in Polish)

Aleksander (signed, surname illegible), Civil Registrar, President

NOTES:*Apparently the parents of the baby were not yet married at the time of the baby’s birth, but this needs to be verified against further records when/if available.
