11/20/2014 6:11 AM It looks like it says Tote. Are there other lowercase ts on the page that you can compare it to? Perhaps the name written is some sort of nickname/form of Taube.
11/20/2014 6:53 AM It looks like Tote. The third letter is not a B unless the person's handwriting is very odd. It might help if we had more of the document visible.
11/20/2014 7:39 AM like the previous responses, i think it would useful to see more of the handwriting on the page.

the last 3 letters are almost certainly "ote", but the first letter could I, J, L, S, or Z. T is also a possibility, based on the writing, but i don't think it's very likely as a name. (but i could be wrong.)

i would vote for Lote or Zote, pending more information.
11/20/2014 7:54 AM My best guess is Tobe
11/20/2014 1:35 PM Can you post a larger section of the document so that the letters of the name can be compared to other words that are written on the page?
