I would like to know the names of the the Dresden building(s)behind the couple, Herman HUSCH and Alice LIPSIUS, in this 1929 photo. The buildings probably did not survive the allied bombings, so this is a challenge for history mavens.

7/17/2014 10:36 AM It looks pretty much like Semperoper opera house with the chimney of the heat and powerstation in the background. It was destroyed indeed in 1945 but rebuilt and reopened in 1985.
