This document is a military document of my grandfather's cousin and best friend Max Emanuel Herz son of Lazarus herz and Johanna Affhauser. He was hurt badly in France in WW1 and won the iron cross. I can answer any other questions. There is a second page I am uploading for viewing at the same time. Max's granddaughter and I would like everything translated. Thank you so very much.

Instead of a running number, there is a not in what I think is shorthand.
