I...am not certain whether this is an ancestor or not. Given the trend in my family of going back and forth between Senders and Davids, and this one is Sender David...I have to wonder. I'm hoping that maybe this names this man's children, which could be the ticket to figuring this out. Either way, I would love a full translation, please, so that I can hopefully figure this out. Thank you!!

It came to pass in the Town of Kalisz on the twenty-sixth day of August in the year of one thousand eight hundred and thirty-seven at the hour of seven in the morning. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Benjamin Fenel Bonus, the Syndicus of Kalisz Synagogue, sixty-seven years of age, and Icek Szylem, a glazier forty-seven years of age, both of them residing here in Kalisz, and declared that Sender Dawid Perle, seven and a half years old, the son of Michal and Zayda, the Perles from Kalisz, had deceased on the twenty-fourth day of August of the current year at the hour of five in the morning. As soon as I saw for myself that Sender Dawid Perle was dead, the actual certificate was read aloud to the appeared, both of whom were neighbours of the deceased’s parents, and subsequently signed by them.
