I would like a translation of this letter from an Eastern European Jewish soldier who volunteered for the Jewish Legion. I cannot decipher his last name.

7/13/2012 2:38 AM Hello Patricia,
The first few lines hold the answer to your questions: Sam Yurik (Yorik in Yiddish) is writing to his female friends Molly and Lena. He informs them among other things that "yesterday, the 31st of July" he has sent them a letter. There is no indication as to the year, but then I didn't read the whole 4 pages. Maybe some other volunteer will read the whole letter and give you at least the gist of it?
Best,
Ite
