Since the groom was more then 60y old, I would like to have the info translation for understanding whether those were late marriage or late registration of the marriage and for any genealogical info.

On  Response
1/1/2012 5:24 PM Salomon Jakob WILF, born in Drohobycz, living in house 22, grain trader, son of late Eisig WILF, peddler, and Machla née FROMMER

"wolny" = single
1/2/2012 5:01 PM I have a similar situation on a marriage record from Mielnica,Galicia. The bride/groom were in their 50's when married. I asked the same question,why so old. The response I received was this was a civil marriage,after a religious marriage took place years before. A religious marriage wasn't recognized by the gov't, so if the couple wanted to,say emigrate, they needed a civil marriage to be legally married.
