Hello,
I am requesting a translation of what I believe
was written inside of a holiday card,I think the language is German,it appears that there are two paragraphs, one written upside down.
Thank you for any help offered.
Take care,
Brian

3/28/2011 1:06 AM Dear Mae, Hearty greetings and all the best for Xmas and the new year wishes you Christel.

How are you, hopefully well

I can write the same of myself

Karl has also not been so well this year, he was twice in the hospital

He feels very well at his daughter Lottiz (last letter ???, I would guess Lottie, but do not know that last letter)

Liebe Mae

3/28/2011 1:51 AM I think the last letter of the daughters name is "y" = Lottiy, a very strange spelling for this name. Usually the last letter is either one, or i or y.
4/1/2011 11:38 AM The last letter of "Lottiy" is indeed a "y" in Old german script. See for example:

I would suspect that this is a misspelling of "Lotty".
