I am looking to see if anyone recognizes these cousins, if anyone knows a surname, if anyone knows what happened to them.
Our family surname was GRUNFELD, originally from TiszaUyluk, then the family moved to Ungvar, and some to New York.
Thank you

2/28/2011 3:06 AM Hello Leya,

This back of the photo is signed by Hersele and Laja Gitele. Dated in Ungvar on December 1938. I will try to translate the text of the card for you (if possible) at another time. Could it be that you have been named after Laya/Laja?..Jo
