This is a letter to my cousin's grandfather, living in the US, from the relatives in Russia (might be from his mother). The letter may have been from Siberia, rather than from Kornitsa, their town of origin. Thank you so much to anyone who might help with a translation!!

The letter is written by Yona Koslo (?) a religious man to his in-laws, the honorable teacher and Rabi Asher Anshul my his candle shine, and his honorable wife Mrs. Shayndl.

In the first page (left side)after thanking God for health, etc. the writer says he has written 3 times since the wedding, and since there was no response, the writer figured the addresse was angry at him, such things can happen, though he didn't know why. But now, since the in-law sent him regarda in Meni's letter, he knows the in-law in not angy, and is therefore writing him a letter in response to the greeting.

The top of the left page mentions the need to make every effort that the shidukh should hold.
"If you were to ask me, my honored in-law why Aharon doesn't write himself, you can understand by yourself that a person cannot speak so much for himself as others."

[then comes text I don't understand]
At the end he mentions not having recieved a letter "from our children" for 5 weeks.

According to the first line, the letter may be from Kornitse.
