What kind of uniform is it?

1/12/2011 6:02 PM If you search Google Images for "Hungarian Army Uniform WWI" you will see examples with the same 6 pointed stars.
1/14/2011 4:44 PM he looks too young to be a soldier, even though young kids sometimes posed for pictures "in uniform".

the uniform itself doesn't look like any uniform i've seen from hungary, because it looks blue or black, whereas most of the pictures that i've seen have have been lighter, usually khaki colour. it might be a naval uniform? unfortunately, it doesn't show the jacket pockets, which were distinguishing features.

also, the sleeves seem to have some kind of lines that look like quilting or padding. could it possibly be a fencing costume? pre-military training was compulsory, and i know that my father got out of it by training in a boxing gym, so i wonder if this was somehow a picture at fencing training?
