I am putting together an Anyksciai Shtetlinks webpage and need to have this Lithuanian text translated into English. It is very relevant to my research.

It is about a 1925 cadastral map and property owners' list of Anyksciai (Aniksht in Yiddish) that was published c. 1995 by the Anyksciai town museum or visitors bureau. A landsman and JewishGenner who visited Anyksciai in 1996 mailed a photocopy to me a few years ago.

Any help you can provide with this translation will be greatly appreciated and will benefit all our Yidn with roots or ties to Anyksciai!

1925 Anyksciu City Plan

This year marks the 480 at the time when "1516, January 7, Zygmunt Stary Anyksciu estate to the city and all the tributary, and duoklemis and inns for 1000 dapu gras pledged Zemaitis seniunaiciui Mikołaj Kęsgaila.

Anyksciai nebepavaldus Vilnius became the magistrates, but the manager upon arrival to the Anyksciai Grand Duke, an old custom of substations required to give the city and district (kn. Anyksciai, 1992, pp. 52) At the moment there is no evidence to confirm that if the city had been given Magdeburg law.

Maybe Anyksciai tvarkesi Lithuania under the then ruler belonging to the urban rates, which suggests that the city and have been pledged with the estate.

Only after more than a century couple, Madona city was granted self-government or otherwise vadinant free town rights. Vaita selected cities (it was the owner of the estate of Joseph Penioniu Siesickis) has been given the privilege, which in 1792 January 17, signed by the king Stanislaw August Poniatowski.

The time relentlessly ran, the city has changed not only addiction, but his face. The city grew, grew, there arose a new streets and the appearance of the old and the other slowly. Only the Square was still in the city center. The structural face of the city were sometimes recorded in the city on the map. Our days as much as several different periods Anyksciu urban boundary plan. Today, one reader to present these plans, a copy of which recently received from the Architectural Engineering Institute. This 1925 map of the city Anyksciu. As noted at the end, the plan is determining the limits of Anyksciu and street name approved by the parish council meeting, on 8 June in January. Protoc 1925. No. 1 * 3, Madona district chieftain M. Sauciulis.

Here are the part of the plan - the central square with its supusiomis streets and streets of people who lived in (the building and a parcel owner) names. Maybe the old Anyksciai dwellers still remember each other then, while it might be nice, and the younger generations to find their family elders, who resided at the time Anyksciu city names, and all events and compare today's city of the central parts of the face of the old city center, fixed in this regard.
