I would like to know what the initials ODRR ( in cyrillic), on the book, stand for.
On the back of the photo, it is written that the upper left young man is Salomon Berline, my great-grand-father.

3/13/2019 8:55 AM Nicole, in your email to Ukrainsig you mention that the acronym is SDRR, but it is actually ODRR.
My guess:
O stands for Odessa;
R could be for Russian;
R could stand for Real Schule (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realschule)

I don't know about D--tried looking up various words, but nothing that I could think of matched.
Good luck.
