Legal and Charitable Status:

Chabad of the South Bank was incorporated on 10 August 2017 (company no. 10910351), as a registered (non-profit) private company limited by guarantee without a share capital and with use of 'Limited' exemption.(x)

Under the same name, but with Chabad of Battersea as a working name, it is also a registered charity (registered charity no. 1176543), registered on 5 January 2018.(xi)

Local Government District:

The district of Battersea in southwest London, lying on the south bank of the river Thames, is in the London Borough of Wandsworth, an inner London Borough created on 1 April 1965, within the administrative area of Greater London. Prior to then, it was in the former Metropolitan Borough of Battersea, created in 1900, within the former County of London.(xii)
