Merged in 1935 with (the Old) Chevra Tehillim, the merged congregation being initially named Chaye Adam & Chevra Tehillim Synagogue (but was subsequently known as Chevra Tillim Synagogue), and which in 1958 merged with other congregations to form Cheetham Hebrew Congregation.

Cheetham is in the centre of Manchester and is now part (since 1974) of the metropolitan borough of the City of Manchester, within the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester (which no longer has any administrative powers).
