In 2023, it was announced that the congregation would merge with the Beth Hamidrash Hagadol Synagogue, forming a new congregation operating from the congregation's adapted building on Harrogate Road.

Date Formed:

Formed in about 1982 affiliated to the Leeds New Central Vilna Synagogue, but with each synagogue maintaining own synagogue building. The Leeds New Central Vilna Synagogue closed in about 1994 and was incorporated into Etz Chaim Synagogue.
