Smilovitskiy or Smilovitskaya from Rechitsa Belarus




First generation - daughter of Aron and Esther Smilovitskiy


Sonia Smilovitskaya was born in Rechitsa Belarus 1912. Her parents were Aron and Esther Smilovitskiy. Two of her sisters were called Gita (Gita had a daughter called Galina) and Kuna (perished in 1941) , four of her brothers were called Sinovi, Efim, Elia and Pjotr (Petja). Sonia, her brother Petja and another brother were only ones who survived - as far as the family knows.

Sonia was married and had a son (Valeri Ustraich), who died at age of two. Her first husband (Ustraich) was also killed in 1940`s.

Later she moved to St. Petersburg and was married to Alexei Lobanov for a few years. She had on daughter Eleonora Lobanova in 1946.




Second and third generation - from Russia to Finland


Eleonora Lobanova married Leo Vladimirov (born 1945 in Saarijärvi, Finland) in 1969 and moved to Helsinki Finland.

Eleonora and Leo Vladimirov had four children: Natalia Daniela (1969), Mila Maria (1971), Irena Berenika (1975) and Niki Daniel Dmitri (1984).
