I am Kristina Vogl, born in Norway. My father was born in Berlin and his name is Hermann Arne Vogl. My grandfather was named Josef Johan Vogl and was born in Bishofteinitz in Bøhmen date: 03/09/1889. He was married to Tordis Vogl,born Floe between 1924 and 1928. Now I wonder if my grandfather was of jewish origin. I am looking for his parents name and if he had any siblings. I cant find neither his name or any of his familiys name.Mu grandmother and my father moved to Norway in about 1934/35. My grandmother was born in Norway and they moved back to Norway. But my grandfather was left in berlin, in Trebbin where he works as a dentist. We know very little about him after 1942. If he was jewish or his family was jewish, was he then put to any prison or f.ex a consentration camp in about 1942. I would like to know. If any of you who read this know where I might find information. Please help me!

Searching Vogl family in Tschekkia

My vogl family comes from Tschekkia.In 1889 that was the area of the Austrian-hungarian union. But later during period of Stalin this changed and is now situated in Tschekkia. MY grandfather Josef Johan Vogl was burried in Hamburg in 1953. He died from cancer.
