JewishGen Education is pleased to offer a new, interactive lecture series: Using AI for Jewish Research. This series explores how artificial intelligence can assist in Jewish genealogical, historical, and textual research. Through live demonstrations and participant-driven exercises, we will explore what AI can and cannot do, how to work with it effectively, and where the field is heading.
Whether you're new to AI or already experimenting with ChatGPT and image tools, this course will give you practical skills, sharpen your critical judgment, and open new paths for discovery.
Three Zoom sessions (1.5 hours each)
Three consecutive Sundays (July 6, 13, and 20, at 10 AM PT (1PM ET))
Each session includes 60 minutes of interactive lecture and 20–30 minutes of live exercises using AI tools.
This course is ideal for researchers at all levels—from beginners curious about AI, to experienced genealogists looking to integrate new tools into their process. Note that enrollment is limited to 10 people.
The cost for the course is $75.
