Snyatyn (Sniatyn) Town Plan, Late 20th CenturyPhotocopy of a town plan of Sniatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine, undated from the late 20th century. The map focuses on property boundaries and parcel areas outside the urban center of the town (the town center is blank, likely shown in greater detail on a separate sheet now missing). Handwritten annotations in English indicate the locations of six features of Jewish heritage in the town: 1 - Synagogue, being rebuilt, currently a clothing factory; 2 - Synagogue, burned in the Holocaust; 3 - Jewish cemetery; 4 - Forest where Jews were killed during the Holocaust; 5 - Birnbaum estate; 6 - Birnbaum house.
