Information Question
Category: Translation - Yiddish
Family Surname: Ajzenszmidt
Country: Poland
Town: lodz(Litzmannstadt)
Date of Image: 2/2/?
This was written to my Father in Law (A"H) a Polish POW in Stalag XIA from his mother, M. Ajzenszmidt in Lodz. Family name was "Germanized" to Eisenschmidt.
Because my Father in Law (A"H) has been dead for 9 years AND
he never talked of these letters my husband knows nothing about them.
All in all, we have 27 separate pieces and would like desperately
to know what these say. We also would like to know more about
Stalag XIA.
