11/20/2013 3:43 PM This is the photo associated with the Yiddish inscription posted for translation. I was told this was taken in NYC in August of 1934. To me, however, neither the sidewalk paving stones nor the soldier's uniform seem to look American. Any ideas of where this could be if it isn't NYC? View the post with its 3 responses
