I'd like help translating the Hebrew on this gravestone, particularly confirmation of her father's name and the text following that section.

====================================================

Here lies our dear and respected mother, Mrs.

CHANNAH LEAH KAHN

daughter of Reb Shmuel Yosef the Cohen

She left her world [passed away] with a good name [reputation] 8 Elul

of the year 5684

May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.

==================================================

'Reb' is an honorific; her father was not a rabbi. However, he was a Cohen, a member of the priestly tribe. The first priest was Aaron, Moses' brother, and this designation is passed down from father to son. Cohanim [plural of Cohen] had specific functions in the Temples, and still receive special recognition -- and have special obligations -- today.

The last part of her name, Kahn [presumably her married name?] is also a common name used by Cohanim, so perhaps her husband was a Cohen, too.

Her father's name, Shmuel Yaakov, is Hebrew for Samuel Jacob.

The 8th of Elul of the year 5684 began at sunset on September 6th, 1924, and ended at sunset on the 7th.
