Mr. YOSEF son of Reb Tzvi

He passed away the 18th of Elul 5697

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.
12/2/2020 6:42 PM Hello Robert,

An observation to share with you about this tombstone and inscription....

It clearly indicates Mr. Josef, son of Reb Tzvi. The son is addressed by a more modern title (Mr.), while the father is addressed by the more traditional and respectful title (Reb). Perhaps, in the US, Joseph was living a more modern and American lifestyle, thus the use of Mr.
