1/26/2017 10:29 AM It's a bit difficult to make out the text, but it does appear to be something to the effect of "a memento of our time in the army". There is nothing more personal or specific mentioned, as far as I can see. It is signed Dawid [probably] Aregner [?], Lublin, September 20th 1927. At the bottom, "Warsaw". The last line is very hard to make out.
The photographer's imprint includes the studio name "Bernardi", his name Funk and the town Lublin.
1/27/2017 5:44 AM I give this likeness of myself to you, my dear friend, as a proof of our friendship.

(signature illegible)

Lublin, 20.IX.27

{oblong stamp impression:}

Artystyczna Fotografja
"BERNARDI"
E.FUNKA
Lublin, Krak. Przedm. 60

{the above address & company name probably relate to the photographic studio where the photo was taken}
