We have figured out most of the tombstone except for the word on the top left of the two lines shown. "Son of the worthy Yehuda (something) the Levite." We would like to know what that (something) word is/means. My husband came up with Mrrbi as the sounds for the letters shown, but we couldn't figure out what it meant; we don't know if it's a second name, or if it's a descriptor of some sort.

On  Response
6/11/2014 6:21 PM ...son of Reb YEHUDA MORDECHAI the Levite.

He had two given names.
6/12/2014 9:49 AM The second name is Mordechai, The engraver didnt do a good job of differentiating between the "resh" and the letter following which is a "daled"
