This is a Page of Testimony submitted to Yad VaShem. I would be grateful for a translation of the information provided on the POT. I would like the information concerning the victim as well as the submitter of the POT. Thank you very much.

On  Response
11/20/2013 10:09 PM Yeshayahu Viner
Son of Yokhanan and Khaya
B1892 in Mlinov Poland
Permanent residence in Rowna, Poland
Occupation: Merchant
Polish citizenship
Residnce during WWII Rowna
D1941 in the ghetto
Married to Zelda
One child 17 years old D1942 Rowna, named Laybel (Aryeh)

Signed by Yokhanan Viner in Kiryat Khayim,
Relationship: [there are a number of relationship terms written, some crossed out, I'm not sure which is the correct one however it apparently looks like "an uncle of the son of his brother" or possibly just his brother's son.

Note that these types of POT's were collected (and filled) in the 50's by census takers and then signed (not filled, only signed) by the witness - a source of confusion and error. The census taker's signature follows the witness's.
11/21/2013 6:38 AM IN my opinion the victim was the uncle, the person who filled the form was victim's brother's son
3/23/2015 12:06 PM I have ancestors named Weiner who were from Rowno. My great-grandmother, Jennie Frailer (nee Weiner) (b. 1888) had a brother Hyman Weiner (b. 1883). They came to the USA from Rowno in about 1905. Their father was Leon and mother was Minnie (although these are probably americanized names). I wonder if there is any connection? You can reach me at
