Wish translation of Hebrew, as wish to know the Hebrew names of my grandfather, Alex Schreckinger and his father.

Alex was also known as Osias and as Elias.

1/25/2023 2:10 PM The right edge of the stone is cut off, mostly obscuring the first letter in the name of the deceased, but I am confident that it is the letter Alef.

Here lies

ELIYAHU son of Reb Yaakov Moshe

he passed away 16 Nisan 5729

May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

===================================================
'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

Eilyahu is Hebrew for Elijah; Yaakov is Hebrew for Jacob; Moshe is Hebrew for Moses.

The 16th of Nisan, 5729, began at sunset on April 3rd, 1969, and ended at sunset on the 4th. (It was the second day of Passover)
