Those who were beloved and pleasant during their lives, and at their death they were not separated (this is a Biblical quote, taken from King David's eulogy for King Saul and his son Jonathan).
------------------------------------------

Here lie

---------------------------------------

Our dear father, a flawless and honest man

Reb DAVID son of Reb Zerach. He passed away at the age of 73 years

on the 6th day of Tishri 5675. May his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

---------------------------------------

Our dear mother, Mrs. MEREH SHAYNEH daughter of Reb Yehuda

Layb, she passed away at the age of 72 years, on the 2nd day of Rosh Chodesh Tamuz

5674. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.

====================================================
'Reb' is an honorific; it does not mean rabbi.

David's Hebrew name is spelled differently from the norm. The common spelling is Daled-Vav-Daled. Here, it is spelled Daled-Vav-Yud-Daled.

Mary's father had a ‘double’ Hebrew name. Yehudah (which is Hebrew for Judah) and Layb (which is Yiddish for lion); The symbol for the tribe of Judah was a lion. SOME (certainly not all) men with either of these names have a secular name related to lion, such as Leo, Leonard, etc.

She passed away on the "2nd day of Rosh Chodesh" of the month of Tamuz. “Rosh Chodesh”, literally the head of the month, also known as the New Moon, indicates the start of a new month. Rosh Chodesh is either a one-day or a two-day event, depending upon whether the previous month had 29 days, or 30. In this case, the previous month, Sivan, had 30 days. This 30th day is considered the first day of Rosh Chodesh. The 2nd day of Rosh Chodesh was the first day of the new month. Therefore, the exact date of death was the first day of the month of Tamuz.
