Kettering, a town in Englandís East Midlands on the river Ise, was an urban district in of the county of Northamptonshire. In 1974, it merged with neighbouring localities to form the local government district (later borough) of Kettering, still within the county of Northamptonshire. Kettering has a population of about 85,000.
Kettering Jewish Community
There were a number of Jews among those evacuated to Kettering during World War II, who established a local synagogue group.
