JewishGen should be one of your "go-to" websites to research your Jewish ancestors. This class shows you how to use JewishGen's databases and communication tools with a focus on guiding your personal research and learn more about your Jewish ancestors.

• to explore JewishGen Research Divisions
• to access JewishGen partner organizations via JewishGen's website ((JRI-Poland, Litvak SIG, Gesher Galicia, Yad Vashem & Steve Morse)
• to explore Jewish history, Geography and Naming practices

Format

5 ZOOM sessions – 75 minutes each –

Sundays March 1 and March 8 11 AM Eastern

Wednesdays March 4, 11, 18 - 5:15 PM Eastern

The ZOOM sessions will demonstrate using various tools of JewishGen with time during class for participants to apply strategies to their personal research.

This class includes 7 lessons for download.

Requirements

In this class you will be using JewishGen exclusively and no paid genealogy sites.

Tuition

Part of the Fundamentals Series. Each class $150 / VAS $132. Any other class after the first class is discounted to $132.
