Browse the VM archive to view user-generated images of Jewish historical subjects, documents, culture and places, up close. A new response feature now allows you to add your response to those older, often unanswered archived images. Please respond with relevant information when you can. Here's how. Sort the first column (VM ID) by clicking on the column title for the oldest or the latest images. Select an image. Next click "Add Response".

Alternatively, narrow your search by clicking "Search Archive," above, and type specific search terms.

Your input deserves our thanks and praise, for it may help a Gen'er in new and rewarding ways.
Countless unnamed and dedicated volunteers from across the globe deserve our gratitude. They freely offer their time and skills responding to ViewMate requests. Giving to others will come back to them.

Note: Viewmate's first saved image is #227.

To sort by a column, click the column title. Then click the sort icon [D] to reverse the order.
You will be able to view responses online if available. Items will open in a new browser window.

15955 Photo Identification

7/25/2010 5:29 PM This is Morrie, my grandma's first cousin and the son of my great-grandmother's sister. His last name is unknown; his mother's maiden name would have been Reznikova and her first name might have been Minnie. They were from Kirovohrad, Ukraine. He was the eldest of four children, the others being Gertrude, Helen and Joey. When their mother died of TB in the Ukraine, their father took them to New York where he remarried. I would like to find his last name and their descendants! View the post, there are no responses
