22660 Tombstone

5/6/2012 7:01 PM The stone of my grandfather's brother, Barnett Swoff, I'm not sure of his Hebrew name. Should say son of Abraham.

If you can't make out the Hebrew, I can make it out on the original, but my Hebrew has atrophied over the years until I can recognize the letter or sound, but not understand, maybe this will help, by line, top to bottom:

Nun-Fey
mem-hey-daled-V?-aleph smaller d-cuf? lamed-yud-R-eyen-pey
hay-eyen-resh-tav lamed-v/z-lamed-aleph h/t?-c M?-nun

22661 Tombstone

5/6/2012 7:01 PM A translation of the Hebrew please. My great-grandmother, Celia Swoff's tomb in Maspeth Queens. Her mother's name was Hanna, I believe.
I know it's a little fuzzy...I can make out most of the letters, but can't remember much more. Maybe this will help, top to bottom:
nun-pey
hey-shin-aleph-resh/dalet? hey-yud-resh?-yud-resh? yud-nun-gimel-aleph
avraham lamed bat hey-yud-cuf-tade mem
nun yud-shin-tuf z?-yud-?-hey nun pey-nun
hey bet tsade nun tuf

22653 Tombstone

5/6/2012 6:55 PM I would appreciate a translation of the Hebrew inscription on this headstone. I'm particularly interested in a transliteration of the Jewish names of the husband Shimshon (second name looks like "Avish"??) and wife (looks like "Keila"??). Thank you very much.

22723 Translation - Russian

5/2/2012 4:46 PM I believe, though am not certain, that this may be the birth record for Cypry Listkoff (or Sarah Listkow) in 1851 in Aleksandrow (or it might be Lodz or Lowicz).
I would be grateful for a translation that will give me an understanding, at least, of the events, dates, names mentioned (and other relevant information eg about parents), and places.
There are two signatures below the one shown on the image, of 'I Listkow' and what appears to be that of 'A B Winows'
