11/27/2013 5:33 PM He signed in "Lithuanian" Yiddish as Heris Svartz.

11/28/2013 5:18 AM It reads Hersh Swartz. However, the handwriting looks very unusual and strangely similar to the English below it (as much as Hebrew handwriting can be similar to English handwriting).

Notice the similarity between the F of Father and the final Tzadi of the end of Schwartz.
