8/23/2013 8:56 AM All this took place in Warsaw on the seventh day of June in the year of one thousand eight hundred and sixty at the hour of half past three in the afternoon. Before me, a Civil Registrar for Non-Christian Confessions of District Four, personally appeared Orthodox Jew Mordka Walach, the writer thirty-three years of age, residing at number one thousand four hundred and thirty-five, deputizing for the father busy with his duties, accompanied by witnesses, namely Orthodox Jews Szaja Koch, the bookbinder twenty-nine years of age, residing at number one thousand and fifty-five, and Mordka Hochcajt, the cook fifty years of age, residing at one thousand four hundred and eighty-six, both of them staying in Warsaw, and showed us a female baby, one of the twins who had been born on the third day of June of the current year at the hour of half past four in the afternoon at number one thousand two hundred and twenty-one declaring she was the legitimate daughter of Orthodox Jews Berek Brajterman, the cowboy sixty years of age, and his spouse Mindla nee Berenholtz, thirty-four years of age, both of them residing at the above-mentioned number, to whom the name had been given Hudes. The above certificate was read aloud to the appeared and the witnesses and subsequently signed by myself and the appeared.
