On  Response
8/20/2013 5:02 AM To my dear beloved daughter and son in law and beloved grandchildren my you live and be healthy.
First of all I'm writing to tell you that I am thank G-d healthy and hope to hear the same from you for ever.
Second, I'm writing to tell you that I'm sending you a photograph of me. I myself can no longer come to you, only the photograph. I'm sending you four copies: one for my beloved daughter may she live and 1 for my dear granddaughter Brokha and her dear husband [these 4 words above the line] and 1 for my dear grandson Beril and his wife and 1 for my beloved granddaughter Liftsche [not sure of the name, it's corrected in the origina]and her husband. I'm asking the same of you - that you should send my your photographs. For as long as I live I want to have XXXX your photographs. [maybe the XXXX is a word meaning near me]. Every time I'll look at them I'll imagine you were with me and that will give me very great happiness
