I would like a full translation of a letter written to my grandparents, Samu and Sarah Rottman, from Itchok Krauss. The letter originated from Israel.

7/3/2013 12:52 AM I don't have time to do a full translation, but I'll try to get the gist. (It's basically written as one long run-on sentence, and the spelling is nonstandard in places, so there are uncertain parts.)

It's addressed to "my dear parents", then apologizes for replying late to a letter from Mom, with the excuse of feeling poorly for the last few weeks. Then there's an inquiry/hope of the general well-being of an Uncle Samu, then a request for photographs of the late (?) Aunt Pepe (??), and Rozsi and Etel. Then it gets really undecipherable; there's a mention of an Aunt Rozo, but I think it's just a "if you see so-and-so, say hi for me". There's a complaint about not enough rain lately, and then I can't figure out the rest right now.

Note that "Uncle" and "Aunt" for "bácsi" and "néni" is a loose translation: the terms don't necessarily imply any blood relationship; in common usage, they're just a term of address for a familiar adult/older person.
