This is the grave of my great Grandmother Rosalia Tannenbaum (born Rowelski). I would be very grateful if anyone could translate the Hebrew for me. Many thanks if you can help.

Her correct age was 43 years. As stated in Hebrew, it translates to three and forty years....Jo
4/25/2013 2:24 AM Thank you so much for these fascinating replies. I'm so pleased it was possible to read the inscription. I was worried that the smaller letters had become illegible.

Jo, thank you for clarifying the age for me.

I do have a question about the reference to 'Rabbi' used to describe her father and husband. Am I right in thinking that it is being used here as a term of respect, not that they were Rabbis? I was not aware of there being Rabbis in the family, although my grandmother (the daughter referenced here) did say that her parents were very religious.

If anyone was willing to email me also a transcript of this in Hebrew, it would be very helpful for me. I would like to give it to the other members of the family in Hebrew and English.

Thank you again for your kind replies. They have been a huge help.
