This is a letter written by my cousin to the Krakow Ghetto authorities. I would greatly appreciate a translation of this document! Thank you so much!

On  Response
4/8/2013 2:22 AM I authorize my wife, Lea Karp r.(?) Ziering to receive my identity card number 08974 as ordered by the "office for resettlement" on Feb 28, 1941, since I am bedridden sick and therefore cannot appear in person.
Krakau, March 6, 1941
Leiser Karp r.(?) Ziering
4/10/2013 2:15 PM Yes, here it gets clear Karp r. Ziering means Karp recte Ziering. Obviously the Ziering is the correct form, but the Karp was recorded in some official papers. (Perhaps for e.g. because a marriage was not registered and the mothers name was used...)
