Hello,I'd like to know what does these list show and why are these people written there?
I think it's written in the big square.I also want to know what is the numbers which are written in the left and right of every name.

2/14/2013 3:46 AM That's an index of birth certificates for both Catholic and Jewish citizens of BiƂgoraj. Such indexes were usually made every year and placed in the same book to make it easier for the clerks to search for specific certificates.

The number on the left is the certificate number, while the one on the right is the page number.
